The Most Anticipated Movies and Shows of 2022, From ‘The Batman’ to ‘House of the Dragon’
With 2021 coming to a close, we figured it would be a great time to take a sneak peek at the content TV and movie fans can’t wait to see next year.
Luckily, using anticipation data from TV Time, the world’s largest tracking tool for TV and movies with 20 million registered users, we were able to get a look at the Most Anticipated Shows and Movies of 2022.
There’s plenty that stands out immediately, from the latest “Black Panther” and “Batman” flicks to the new “The Lord of the Rings” TV series and “House of the Dragon,” the “Game of Thrones” spin-off series coming to HBO Max. On top of that, there are a number of popular shows set to return in 2022, including Netflix’s “Bridgerton” and “Ozark,” that we’ve included below as well.
So if you’re looking for a big show or movie to keep an eye on next year, be sure to check out our lists below; when something catches your eye, you can fire up the TV Time app and “follow” a show to make sure you’re ready to go for when its 2022 premiere date comes.
The data below includes each piece of content’s “share of follows,” which represents the share of follows attributed to the respective title out of all follows for upcoming new movies, new shows or returning shows with a 2022 release date.
